Our Horsemanship Program
Ages 12-21

Our horsemanship program inspires students to dive deep into God’s Word while also becoming incredible equestrians. We want kids to get excited about scripture, and that’s where the horses come in. At the start, we spend an hour with the horses, where students develop character and life skills through a combination of ground work and riding. The session then carries over into a devotional where we cover a weekly Biblical theme, pour into scripture, and foster a supportive community amongst peers & coaches. Students are given journals and fun weekly homework to expand their bible and equine knowledge. The groups remain small, between 2-4 students at a time for one-on-one mentoring.

Staying true to our tagline of

"giving Him the reins"

The program is weekly.

Horseback riding

The sessions are in a group format.

The group size is anywhere from 2-4 with students close in age, fostering new friendships and a wholesome community.

Riding lessons

Riding Style

Our riding discipline is English, natural horsemanship, trail, and endurance for those diehard older students. We customize it based on past experience, ranging from beginner to advanced! Students learn to do everything: catch the horse, groom, tack up, ground work, liberty and of course riding.

Trail riding

Pricing

As a 501c3 nonprofit, we want the program to be affordable for everyone! The average horse lesson rate in Colorado is $55-90/hour.

Our program costs $35 per 90 minute session.

If the cost is still beyond your means, you can apply for one of our scholarships.

Our focus

We believe in staying true to God's word, and not compromising our morals to what society perceives as "good." As it says in Isaiah 5:20, "Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!" Along with 2 Timothy 3:1-4 "But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God." Are we not seeing this in our modern day society? Our ranch community will not make any compromises. We will honor God above all else and provide an atmosphere true to God's word, encouraging students to do the same. Helping mold generations of believers into warriors of Christ, not of this world.
